What is it all about?
We're Brent and Mark — two high school social studies teachers from Orange County, California with 42 years of combined classroom experience. We built You Will Love History because we were frustrated with resources that looked good on paper but fell flat with real students.
Everything we create is built around one idea: students learn more when they're actually engaged. We pioneered the flipped classroom model at our school, were featured in the Orange County Register for it, and have spent years refining activities, slide decks, digital assignments, and assessments that work in a real high school classroom — not just a perfect one.
